Privacy Policy
EMS Eyewear operates as a B2B manufacturer. The personal information we hold is business contact and project data — name, work email, company, country and the details you include in an inquiry — not consumer data. This policy explains how that data is handled.
What we collect. When you submit an RFQ, email or WhatsApp message, we receive your name, work email, company name, product line of interest, target quantity and any message text. Our site also logs basic technical data such as IP address and browser type for security and analytics.
How we use it. Inquiry data is used to respond within 24 hours, prepare quotes and NDAs, manage production projects and send requested documents such as spec sheets and certification files. We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties. Data is shared only with logistics and finance partners strictly necessary to fulfill your order.
Cookies and third parties. The site uses minimal functional cookies. Form submissions are processed through a third-party form service under its own privacy terms; analytics tooling may set tracking cookies that you can disable in your browser.
Your rights. You may request access, correction, deletion, objection or portability of your data at any time by writing to legal@ems-eyewear.com. Where GDPR or CCPA applies, those rights are honored in full. Inquiry records are kept for the project lifecycle plus statutory retention periods.
Product privacy note. Camera models ship with a capture LED and a single-camera hardware switch, and footage is stored on-device (32–128 GB) by default. Cloud access is off unless your deployment configures it — see the camera glasses page for the product-level privacy statement.

● Export Compliance SPEC. NO. EMS-LEG-EXP
Export Compliance Statement
Every EMS Eyewear shipment is packed and documented for the destination market. Lithium batteries carry full transport files, HS codes are confirmed per model at quote stage, and customs documentation is prepared by our export team rather than left to the last minute.
| Lithium batteries | UN38.3 report + MSDS per battery · IATA DGR packing |
|---|---|
| HS classification | 9004 eyewear · 8518 audio electronics · 9003 frames |
| US duties | MFN 2–2.5% + Section 301 → 7.5–25% consumer electronics |
| EU duties | ~2% duty + VAT 19–25% by country · EORI required |
| UK duties | 2% under UKGT |
| Battery air cargo | ≤100 Wh standard · +25% YoY lithium air volume (IATA) |
Import duties, VAT and local registration remain the buyer's responsibility; we supply the documentation your customs broker needs — certificates, MSDS, packing list and commercial invoice — with every order.
● Terms of Service SPEC. NO. EMS-LEG-TERM
Terms of Service
Scope of engagement. Our services cover quotations, tooling and NRE, prototype development, mass production, certification and shipping of smart eyewear. Each engagement is governed by the written order confirmation, which prevails over any verbal discussion.
Quotations and orders. Quotes are valid for 30 days and itemize tooling, NRE and unit price by volume tier. An order is confirmed by a signed purchase order plus the agreed deposit; changes requested after tooling begins may adjust price and timeline.
Payment. A deposit opens tooling or production; the balance is due before shipment. Bank transfer is standard, with other terms available for repeat buyers under a master agreement.
Intellectual property. Your designs, artwork and firmware remain yours. Improvements we make to our reference platforms remain our IP, licensed to you for the products we manufacture together. Confidential information is covered by the NDA below.
Warranty and liability. Manufacturing defects are covered for 12 months from shipment; misuse, modification or unauthorized repair is excluded. Liability is limited to the value of the affected order, and our quality documentation — test logs and traceability records — is available for your incoming inspection.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, with disputes resolved by arbitration in Shenzhen. Force majeure suspends obligations for the duration of the event.

Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
Before you share product specs, pricing models, supplier lists or prototypes, we sign a mutual NDA covering all confidential information exchanged during the engagement. The template is bilateral — both sides are bound — and covers data you share with us as well as reference designs we share with you.
NDA signing typically completes within 1–2 business days of request. Send your template or request ours at legal@ems-eyewear.com, and we will execute it before any detailed technical discussion.
