Within 24 hours you receive a feasibility note, itemized tooling/NRE and unit pricing by volume tier. Sign an NDA first if your spec is sensitive.
Prototype
A working prototype ships 14 days after spec freeze. You evaluate weight, acoustics, optics and app behavior before committing tooling spend.
Mass Production
Production runs 30–45 days on average. You receive a production calendar and can book third-party inspection at any stage of the run.
Inspection
Pre-shipment inspection covers function, cosmetics and packaging against the agreed checklist. Every unit carries per-unit traceability records.

Twenty Questions, Answered with Numbers
Grouped the way buyers ask them. No marketing language — MOQ, days, percentages and codes.
MOQ & Pricing
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
MOQ starts at 100 pcs per SKU across all six product lines. Volume tiers apply above 1,000 pcs, and pricing is itemized transparently in the quote.
What are your reference wholesale price bands?
Reference wholesale bands: smart audio glasses USD 30–80, camera glasses USD 60–150, AR display glasses USD 150–400. Final pricing depends on configuration and volume.
Do you offer tiered pricing for larger orders?
Yes. Every quote breaks down tooling, NRE and unit price by volume tier, so you can model your margin before placing a deposit.
Lead Time
How long does a working prototype take?
A working prototype ships 14 days after spec freeze, built on the tested reference design for your product line.
How long does mass production take?
Mass production averages 30–45 days. A full ODM flow from blank spec to finished product runs 60–90 days, with certification running in parallel.
Certification
Which certifications do you ship with?
CE (RED/EMC/LVD/RoHS), FCC, Bluetooth BQB and UN38.3+MSDS documents ship with every order. ANSI Z87.1 and EN166 lens options are available for safety, sports and industrial models.
How long does CE certification take?
Simple audio models close CE in 4–6 weeks; camera and display models take 10–16 weeks. Pre-compliance testing saves 2–4 weeks.
Can you provide ANSI Z87.1 or EN166 impact protection?
Yes. Safety-rated lens and frame options meeting ANSI Z87.1 (US) or EN166 (EU) are available on sports, assistive and industrial models.
Customization
Do you support OEM and ODM modes?
Both. OEM takes your existing design to production; ODM covers frame, lens, hardware, software, branding and packaging from our reference platforms.
Can you fit prescription lenses?
Yes. Clip-in or bonded prescription lenses are supplied through our ophthalmic lab partner on most frame platforms.
Can you customize the software and companion app?
Yes. App UI, wake word, assistant voice, EQ presets and AI features are brand-customizable, with SDK access and OTA firmware updates after shipment.
Logistics & Duties
How do you ship products with lithium batteries?
Every battery carries a UN38.3 test report and MSDS, and shipments follow IATA DGR packing instructions. Batteries under 100 Wh ship as standard cargo; magnetic charging contacts are declared.
Which HS codes apply to smart glasses?
Smart glasses typically fall under HS 9004 (eyewear), with audio-heavy models under 8518 (audio electronics) and frames under 9003. We confirm the code per model at quote stage.
What are current US import duties on smart glasses?
The US MFN base rate is 2–2.5% on frames and lenses; Section 301 tariffs raise consumer-electronics smart glasses to a combined 7.5–25%. There is no US import VAT.
What about EU duties and VAT?
EU duty is about 2% for eyewear, plus country VAT of 19–25% (Germany 19%, France 20%, Italy 22%, Spain 21%, Netherlands 21%, Sweden 25%). An EORI number is required for imports.
Do magnetic charging contacts affect air freight?
Small magnets are generally permitted but must be declared on the air waybill. Our export team handles the declaration as part of the standard battery-compliant packing.
Privacy
Do camera glasses have privacy indicators?
Yes. Every camera model ships with a capture LED and a single-camera hardware switch, so recording state is visible to people around the wearer.
How is recorded footage stored and controlled?
Footage is stored on-device (32–128 GB) and transferred via the companion app. Cloud access is off by default and configurable per deployment.
Inquiry Process
What should I include in an RFQ?
Product line, target quantity, target market, budget band and launch timeline. We reply with a feasibility note, spec summary and a project plan.
How fast do you respond to inquiries?
Within 24 hours on business days. An NDA is signed before you share detailed specs, and a dedicated engineer owns your project end to end.
